Whatever your goals are, we can help you achieve them! Perhaps you want to be more active but don’t know where to begin. Or maybe you love your sport but keep getting injured. Or possibly you want to improve your marathon time or drop your golf score. Athletic Training can help with all of these!
Our expert physical therapist, Aaron Keeney, DPT, uses his knowledge of exercise physiology, human biomechanics, and your individual body and history to tailor a plan that will meet your goals. We believe that all people have potential for improvement and growth. The therapist’s role is to help the client find that potential and maximize it.
What to expect
For your first visit, Dr. Keeney will discuss your health history, limitations, exercise habits, and goals. He will perform a physical exam to determine what your precise areas for growth are, and he will partner with you to make a plan for meeting your goals. You will leave with as detailed a plan as you want, from a flexible schedule that fits your life to a precise training schedule with exact exercises to perform.
Any follow-up visits on your plan will include troubleshooting for what worked and what didn’t, which will involve adaptations for your exercises, adjusting the plan, changing direction, or learning how to progress the exercises.
